I have my 2009 Cherokee SRT 8 and its power door locks not working properly, My fuses are good so i dnt find out that what is the problem with them sometime they work properly and sometime not. so anyone suggest me cheaper way to fix this issue.
I had a problem with my Back door hatch lock. I can't open the front door.I had an appointment at the dealership (OUT OF WARRANTY) scheduled for Thursday, and it was going to cost me at least $350 to get it repaired. I was a general fix-it-myselfer.Unlocking on the key remote did not release the lock on the back door. Unlocking on the door lock control panel did not release the lock on the back door; I could not get the back door open. Then i contact LOCKSMITH COCONUT CREEK.These guys are awesome and provide us quality work.
I was also having issues with the power door lock but Locksmith Hollywood have helped me to fix the issue. The problem is in the door actuator, he simply replaced the door lock actuator with the new one and now it works fine.
OP - only one door or are you saying there is a problem with all doors when locking and unlocking with the remote?
If from the remote, did you change the fob battery? Do you have any aftermarket electronics in the Jeep that might interfere with the remote signal? USB/Cellphone chargers, Trinity tuner, OBDII plugins, etc.
