Well I miss my 2014 SRT but I picked it up do to the price but hated the color and now just came across a 2016 locally exactly how I would have ordered a new one. It's listed at 59k loaded Sepia / HK / Pano / Trailer Hitch with 375 miles. I went to look at the Jeep tonight and the truck was in the service Dept and they could not find the keys but I may go look at it again tomorrow AM. The Salesmen told my it was a buy back and told me the original owner said it would stall out but Jeep Factory could not replicate the problem. Also it had aftermarket tires (non run flats) Things don't seem to add up! I mean 375 miles and a Buy Back? As for the tires I prefer to have non run flats to smooth the ride out and almost changed them on my 2014.
Of course not, because it's a production plant not an aftermarket service/diagnostic facility. The sales rep's story may contain some "alternative facts," starting with the fact that a 375 mile vehicle experiencing stalling issues does not go "back to the factory" for troubleshooting. I'd take that rep's word with a grain a salt and conduct my own extreme due diligence before signing on the dotted line for that unit.
Even in a perfect Utopia, if they replaced everything on the Jeep with brand new, factory parts and everything is perfect and nothing is wrong with it now; that will ALWAYS be on the title. Resale will be substantially lower for the life of the vehicle.
IMHO, steer clear. Far, far clear, but that's just me. I don't intend on keeping mine for the rest of my life, so resale is important to me. Your situation may differ.
The Buy Back was buyers remorse it states "Yellow" flakes in white paint. (Dealer said stalling initially but was mistaken" I looked and the paint looked perfect. I'm not buying it as I had no idea the title would be branded as a buy back.
I didn't realize the title would be branded. That's at least a 20% value reduction in price. Its priced way high this being the case. You could get an unbranded one for $60,000.
If that wasn't the case, I'd say get it CPO'd for free, and have them throw in a mopar extended warranty and call it a day. Branded title, Id pass.
