I've been looking for a 14 for a while. I'm close to finding one.. from my search $40-$41 out the door is gonna be tough..
You will have to get higher miles or have a dinger on the car fax..
I've seen only 2 14's sell sub $40 with sub 60k miles.
Most dealers are listing over priced and trying to get big profits.. patients will be key..
Example a dealer had a 14 with 20k on lot listed at 53$k on website for $48k and then negotiated to $43k. And that's a good deal but it's not $42 out the door. I should be picking this one up this week, if all goes well..
Good luck
Not to mention the manhiem trade value for a 14 with 50k miles super clean is about $39k depending on options. Manhiem is the tool dealers use to buy trade in cars.. all dealers use it! None use KBB or NADA....

It's VIN based to be accurate.
I had my client pull it for me on one last week..
2014 SRT
56k miles
19 speaker
Super clean inside and outside
Black on black
$39k was manhiem trade value.
Dealer would have paid roughly $37-$40k depending on the deal they were working..
I'm not sure where you're located but you may want to consider checking what's available in the northern states. There are quite a few coming across from Canada due to the exchange rate. The only downside is you don't get a warranty but they will be out of warranty anyway.
The 14 with 40,000 miles. IMO I also would see if theres any mods added to it. If it has headers 4 get it. If it has any added buttons in side that are not stock 4 get it.
So it seems to me you answered your own question. (i.e no more than 41k). Personally, I wouldn't let a few thousand dollars influence my decision but rather base my decision on the options and condition "after I drove" each one. Now if those are really just asking prices, pick the best one and make an offer you feel comfortable with.
Make sure it has the upgraded stereo and 8 speed. You should have no problem finding one around $40-45k based on location and miles. Be willing to travel a bit.
