2014 Whipple Build!

Okay guys here is the basic data on my Whipple build. If anyone wants more specific info just ask and Iíll be happy to get it to you. The build was done by Carz Performance in Lakewood, CO and the motor was built by Madcap Racing Engines/Carz Performance.

We put it on the dyno and took baseline readings before we did anything to it. As you can see on the attachment, the baseline all wheel HP was around 325 and the torque was about 340. Again this is at the wheels ALL WHEEL.

The motor was pulled, bored, honed and completely rebuilt with all forged parts. We used Manley H-Beam rods, CP Carrillo Bullet Pistons 4.10Ē bore 10.1:1 CR, ATI Super Damper, ARP fasteners, Complete MDS Delete, Kooks Headers, Kooks Green Catted Connection Pipes, GT Haus Exhaust (already had), Zeitronix ZT-2 Wideband meter showing Fuel Pressure, AFR, Boost and EGT and last but certainly not least the Whipple 2.9L Twin Screw Supercharger.

The early numbers it is producing are: 537.9 all wheel HP and 462.8 pounds of Trq @ 8.6 pounds of boost. We are still breaking the engine in so we haven't turned it up yet. We will turn her up to around 600 at the wheels once broken in. This is all wheel horse power, not 2wd HP with the front axles pulled. This is my daily driver so we aren't going to turn her up more than that for now to keep the drivability in city traffic.

Iíll update this post with the new numbers once we turn her up! She is already a blast to drive and I can't wait to turn her up!

Here is a video that the shop made of her on the dyno.

Thanks Man! It took about 6 weeks beginning to end. Most of that was the motor work. The guys knocked it out of the park! I couldn't be happier!

I didn't realize how small the pictures were. Here are the dyno sheets larger.

I think your exhaust is too quiet...you should just go ahead and remove the cats to let it breathe
