So, this is my second order trying to find the right lug nut. I don't want/need any locking nuts. Looking for black regular old lug nuts. The first order i did was for 91743 but the shop said they looked too small and suggested I look for a different set. The set i have sitting in front of me, 91147 look too small as well. WTF, why can't Gorilla have an actual application page? This totally blows, wheels are off for a brake install and full detail for a car show and all I have are crappy factory nuts, of which one is dented.
I didn't try them, just looking at the package they don't look remotely correct. They are not "bulge" style acorns, they look like a standard tapered seat. I have them in the car, I will take a picture. Not toe mention the head is teeny tiny compared to the stocker.
Well, I did some digging and crossing and all kinds of things. There are like 10 different part numbers for the stock 13/16 nut:
(These two include valve stems)
91943HT for chrome lug and lock kit in a box
91943BC for black chrome luck and lock kit in a box
91743 chrome lug and lock in clamshell
Standard lugs
91148, 91147, 91147b for chrome nuts in bulk, clamshell or bag
91148HT, 91147HT, 91147HTB for heat treaed bulk, clamshell or bag
91148bc, 91147bc, 91147bcb for black bulk, clamshell or bag
Factory style (21 mm)
61148cx 61147cx for a factory chrome bulk or clamshell
61148bcx, 61147bcx for factory black chrome bulk or clamshell
The "system" which is 20 locks:
96643dx factory bulge
96643bdx factrory bulge in black chrome
Gorilla locks:
96641dx for factory style
96641bdx for factory black chrome
